The trip to the USA to attend All It Takes’ Youth Summer Leadership Intensive was incredible! The staff met each of us with open arms and they were easy to talk to. All It Takes gave me the opportunity to make friends and meet new people on a whole other continent! Now I have new friends that I stay connected to and look forward to seeing them again someday. I learned if you don’t know who you are, how can you expect others to see you? Also, you don’t know everyone’s story even if you think you know their story.
I found out a lot of things about myself that surprised me, and I was surprised to hear people see me as a beam of light! As a result of this trip, I’ve been thinking about going into youth work as a career.
